1. Dr. Cheddi Jagan award for the best graduating student in Bachelor of Dental Surgery.

2. Dr. P Giri award for the second-best graduating student in the College of Medical Sciences, Dentistry programme, who obtains at least a "Pass with Credit".

3. The UGDSA's Charm award for the third-best graduating student with at least a "Pass with Credit" in the Bachelor of Dental Surgery.

​

4. UGDSA's Presidential Award of Honor for the student that served as student body president during their tenure at the School of Dentistry.

​

5. UGDSA's Medal of Service for students that served the association in any capacity other than president during their tenure at the School of Dentistry.​ 

​

6. Dr. Stuart's Best Research Award for the team that excels in their research project. 

​

7. Best Rotation, there are seven awards in this category for the student that demonstrate excellent performance and capability during their clinical rotations in any of the following: Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Pedodontics, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, and Restorative Dentistry.
