DENTAL STUDENT RESOURCES

MENTORSHIP IN DENTAL SCHOOL

The school of Dentistry has certified dental professionals to assist with balancing mental health and general health. Additionally, UGDSA devised student mentorship program "Dental Buddy" in which new students are assigned a dental buddy from the upper year. The buddy system allows for student-based academic guidance, teamwork and shared coping mechanisms in Dental school. This mentorship relationship normally lasts until graduation.

PPE COMMITTEE

This is initiative was established to cope with COVID-19 regulations and safety protocols. The committee is headed by the Clinical Representative of UGDSA. The aim is to expand the reach of the committee into providing free access to equipment and dental materials for our students.
